The right answer
Right answer Move to the lane on your left in good time.
Why
A red cross over a lane means you may not use that lane (RVV 1990 art. 73). There are green arrows over the other lanes: ease off and move in good time to the free lane on your left.
Ease off and move left in good time: beyond the red cross you may not drive in this lane.
What happens in the animation
From the start you can see a gantry with lane signals further on: a red cross over your lane, green arrows over the other lanes. Far beyond the gantry you can see a vehicle in your lane.
Where to look
Look far ahead at the signals over the lanes and at the lane to your left.
