1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These terms apply to your use of TheorieWin. By creating an account, you accept these terms. How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy.
2. The service
TheorieWin is a free online service to help you study for the Dutch CBR driving-theory exam, with practice questions, a repetition schedule, mock exams and progress tracking.
- The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do our best to keep it working well, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors.
- We may change, add or remove features. If we stop the service completely, we will tell you in advance where possible, so you can download your data.
3. Independent from the CBR
TheorieWin is independent and is not affiliated with the CBR (Centraal Bureau Rijvaardigheidsbewijzen). The CBR is the only authority for the theory exam, its rules and its results. Always check official information on cbr.nl, for example about booking, exam versions and requirements.
4. No guarantee of passing
TheorieWin is a study aid. We do not guarantee that you will pass the CBR exam. Results on our mock exams or progress indicators are only an estimate and do not predict your real exam result.
5. Errors in the content
We prepare our questions, explanations and videos carefully, but they may contain errors or may become outdated when rules change. The official traffic rules and the CBR always take priority over our content.

6. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. We do not offer accounts to people under 16 (see our privacy policy).
- Use a valid email address that you control. An account is personal: do not share it with others.
- Keep your sign-in details and access to your email safe. Tell us right away if you think someone else is using your account.
- You can delete your account at any time on your account page.
7. Acceptable use
You may use TheorieWin for your own personal, non-commercial study. You may not:
- copy, scrape, sell or publish our questions, explanations, videos or other content, in whole or in part, without our written permission;
- use bots or automated tools to access the service, or put an unreasonable load on it;
- try to bypass security, access other people’s accounts or test our systems for weaknesses without permission (you may do so by following our responsible disclosure policy);
- use the service for anything illegal or harmful, or in a way that disrupts it for others.
All content on TheorieWin belongs to us or to our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law.
8. Suspension and termination
If you break these terms or abuse the service, we may suspend or close your account. Where reasonable, we will first warn you and give you the chance to stop. In serious or urgent cases (for example security risks or fraud), we may act immediately. We will tell you why.
9. Liability
TheorieWin is free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- not passing an exam, or for exam or rebooking costs;
- damage caused by errors in the content;
- the service being temporarily unavailable, or loss of progress data;
- indirect or consequential damage.
This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence on our part, or where mandatory law (such as consumer protection law) does not allow it.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We will tell you about important changes by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before that date. Changes required by law or for urgent security reasons may apply sooner.
11. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country.
Please contact us first if you have a complaint; we will try to find a solution together. If that does not work, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands. As a consumer, you can also go to the court where you live.
