The right answer
Right answer I brake and stop before the zebra crossing.
Why
The pedestrian on the right is stepping onto the zebra crossing. You must let a pedestrian on a zebra crossing go first: brake and stop before the crossing (RVV 1990 art. 49 lid 2).
Brake and stop before the crossing: a pedestrian stepping onto a zebra has priority, and there is no room to pass.
What happens in the animation
From about half a second, a pedestrian on the right walks briskly to the crossing without slowing, then steps onto it.
Where to look
Look at both pavements beside the zebra crossing, especially at anyone walking towards the kerb.
